Our Favorite
Digital Marketing Tools
For our running our Consultants 500 business we currently use quite a lot of the Digital Marketing Tools as listed above, being: Google Analytics | MailChimp | Ahrefs | Yoast SEO | Google Search Console | Canva | Hotjar | Screaming Frog
In the past we have also used these tools, which we currently do not use anymore because we found better alternatives or because we do not need them anymore: BuzzSumo | Buffer | Crazy Egg | Feedly | Hootsuite | Moz.
Finally, we also use these Digital Marketing Tools which were somehow not included in the above top 25 list:
The main disadvantage of Google Analytics is that it is primarily traffic-oriented, and gives less emphasis on users, events, and conversions. Via Google Analytics you cannot track individual users, and get info on who they are and how they exactly behave on your website (Google Analytics only provides aggregated data). That’s why we also use Oribi. It is a relatively new Analytics Tool on the market and its main goal is to simplify your web analytics. It’s very easy to implement and use. Oribi Analytics was built for marketers, and it’s especially great for anyone who doesn’t have the time or experience to build their own data trackers or software. It also offers trend alerts so you can stay on top of what’s popular right now within your user base.
For our Social Media scheduling, we use SmarterQueue, a relatively new player in the Social Media scheduling area, and which we found better and easier to use than Buffer or Hootsuite. That must say enough!
Finally, we also use Evernote for organizing online information, Grammarly for double-checking our writing skills and Hunter for finding emails of any website within seconds.
